FAQ: Frequently ask question

Since JIC is located in the center of Cebu City, you can go anywhere easily. Many students go sightseeing or travel on weekends.

And also we have some activities, for example volunteer activity, so you can join it. We are sure that you will have good experiences.

What can I do on weekends?

All students must stay in JIC dormitory. It is good for study and safe living.

You do not need to worry and think about food. We are providing meals 365 days/ 3 times a day for free.

And we have laundry service every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for free. But we do not compensate for any damage for your clothes, so we recommend you to wash highly valuable or expensive clothes by yourself.

Of course we have cleaning staff so that you can stay here comfortably.

Should I stay in JIC dormitory?

We have peak seasons and non-peak seasons. So it depends on the seasons. Nationality ratio also depends on it.

JAN, FEB, JULY, AUG and DEC are *super-peak seasons, especially we have lots of Korean students. Korean 60%, Japanese 15%, Taiwanese 15%, Vietnamese 10%

MAR, APR and SEP are *non-peak seasons. But the number of Japanese students increases slightly in these seasons. Japanese 40%, Korean 30% other 30%

MAY, JUN,OCT and NOV are *non-peak seasons.

There are not many students. These are the best time for study.

Is it safe to stay in Cebu?

Do not worry. Our well-trained security guards protect JIC 24 hours a day.

But when you are outside, we advice you should be more careful in this country with your belongings to be safe than in some very safe countries.
